I'll admit watching this so late at night I probably missed out on simple things.
Is it clear that this is a world where vampire is a term that never exists? Got no problem with old ass preacher believing it. But everybody else?
And what exactly was the plan at the end for episode 6? Again that probably easily explained but watched late.
I mean if it happened in real life nobody would say it either because nobody wants to sound crazy. We’d all try to rationalize because they aren’t real.
The priest saw things first hand and thought it was some miracle from a biblically accurate Angel or something lol. He didn’t really allow himself to believe what was really happening until it was too late. Even then he was still trying to rationalize it until he was called out on it.
There wasn’t much of a plan. The only way for the priest to assuage his guilt was to try to make everybody else “immortal” but everything went wrong and he was finally forced to confront himself about the ugliness of what he had brought to the town.
