They might as well just become a 3rd party publisher, nothing is going to make people en masse buy Xbox’s at this point. They will never have another exclusive as big as Starfield and the results are underwhelming

Their hardware keeps declining quarter after quarter, yoy…despite marginal gains in other sectors.
Whats the point?
No they should not become a 3rd party publisher. They have the money to burn to recover their console business as they don’t need it to be profitable since the main business is. They need to tighten up their ship.

They’ll be third party eventually, ain’t no one checking for their devices and hardware like that.

They just aren’t a good hardware company, never have been. Phones, MP3’s, tablets, personal computers, and gaming consoles have all been a struggle for them since the 80’s

Software is the problem here. The argument that they should be a third party software company because they have historically struggled making software is nonsensical. They have clearly invested in shoring up their software studios. You don’t then prematurely abandon that investment.
