the biggest problem with this situation is the fact of them paying 69 billion for Activision and 7 for Zenimax but turning around and canning 10k heads. That's the issue they can't seem to understand. Looks REAL shytty

None of you were applauding them for hiring 80k people in the last couple years and being the only large tech company to allow unions.

We all know corporations literally only exist to make money.
You personally are banking on corporation to enrich yourself and your family.
You personally will and have benefited from microsoft and others making shrewd business moves.
Since this microsoft announcement there’s been at least half a dozen other tech companies to announce layoffs.
Sony just announced layoffs last year after recording record profits and leading the industry.

But they didn't have anything to say about Sony lay offs with two week notices despite growth, or Netflixs or Amazon cutting 18k jobs.
Meanwhile MS hired 80k while others were laying people off, and then laid off 10k of those 80k and it's blowing there minds.
These successful mega corps are successful mega corps for a reason... Let's see if the same energy is kept later on down the line
