They said that big dog exclusives don't really matter, the plan is to have Game Pass at front and center.

Game Pass needs a constant stream of games to work. AAA games take a lot of time and money to make, so they're not enough to feed it.

MS did buy a bunch of studios though, so Xbox... Is blowing up the mid-level ones that can put out games more frequently and keep GP buzzing to... Focus on big dog exclusives.

They’re gonna turn Obsidian into a Fallout studio, mark my words. They aren’t gonna wait 7 years to start making another fallout game when Outerworlds 2 is gonna sell like cardboard. The latter is gonna get canned, its probably still in pre development stage right now.

If you’re Microsoft what makes more sense, a new Fallout game with BGS assisting Obsidian or having Obsidian wasting their time making fallout-lite? The only thing that has probably stopped them is Todd Howard but he recently said they are looking to outsource for FO as of last week
