So lying to the Government blatantly should be allowed? :skip:
Have you noticed inflation lately? They can point to that and say their cost have increased drastically. Even point to rivals like Sony who increased their prices on all their subscription tiers by a lot.

Nobody is making an excuse for anything. That's something that's literally happening to pretty much every service in existence. The FTC will get laughed out of the room claiming it's uniquely consumer harm when Microsoft does it but when Netflix, Spotify, Peacock, Paramount+, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, and almost every subscription service raises prices it's what pro-consumer?

This is why the FTC lost their case because they've been grasping at straws and making weak arguments. If anything this merger damaged gaming because since it Microsoft has shown a desire to put more of their games on rival platforms and has less of a desire to compete with Sony in the console market but that isn't something the FTC can argue in court.

This merger will result in a full blown monopoly. Just not the company the FTC predicted would become one.

They got caught lying again. Bottom line.

Of course no one can promise that prices would remain the same but barely a year later you raising them after you said you wouldn’t. Nobody forced them to say they wouldn’t raise prices. That’s why they shouldn’t have said that goofy shyt. Stop making promises you can’t keep and know are unrealistic.

They said prices wouldn’t go up due to the merger. That’s not to say prices wouldn’t go up at all or that their offerings wouldn’t change. That company doesn’t have monopolistic pricing power with Game Pass.

It’s just funny that people that were against Game Pass saying it damages the industry, devalues the product, and is unsustainable are now crying foul because they’re changing Game Pass. It’s fairly obvious that as Microsoft descends into being more of a 3rd party publisher Game Pass will have things like this happen so they can sell more copies of games.

Their business model stalled out so they changed it. I’m all for blasting companies for wrongdoing but here I can’t say they’re up to that. Game Pass doesn’t make sense to a third party publisher making AAA expensive games. It’s only obvious that as Microsoft becomes that Game Pass will get less and less emphasis because it will cost them game sales.

Your arguments are disingenuous. You don’t care about Microsoft or their service.
you making excuses for blatant double talk and lies is the point. Even these new prices and tiers are confusing as fukk. they don't know what they are doing and have been showing this for years.

But continue to cape.

And yes I do care about what MS is doing....XBox division not so much. Go 3rd party and figure it out. Your 2 console competitors are not putting gamepass on their devices. PC Players look at them like bytches since they won't tolerate a price hike. So what does Phil do? Put the burden on console gamepass subscribers like a coward.

What? The price is going up on gamepass because of Call of Duty. Which was the main part of the merger...
