People on here overrate the hell out of these trash western developers. Take two puts out one big game a generation, who even knows if there next game will be good.

Then they have 2k and bioshock, one an annual sports game that sees minimal improvements and the other which has been in deep sleep for years.

EA is another garbage tier publisher, that sucked the life out of great studios. Lets not even get started on Ubisoft-shyt

If the Activision deal bars MS from further publisher acquisitions, then Xbox should just cop WB Montreal; Monolith Studios, Rocksteady, Netherealm, a 10+ year DC license agreement for games, and Nihom Falcon(Trails of Cold Steel devs, a JRPG series).

FTC doesn't give a sh*t about this acquisition, they just want to use it as leverage against MS. The deal will go through but I'm wondering what type of non-gaming division concessions MS is going to have to agree to so the process doesn't get prolonged.

I’m not sure why you think selling a assload of games and mtx means anything when microsoft just bought acitvision. They own candy crush, WoW, and CoD…..

Activision stock was on a downward spiral because of serious sexual harassment allegations made against high ranking employees. The company it self was in turmoil, even after firing the people accused, the stock hasnt really recovered.

This is a way for the higher ups in Activision to continue to push employees to pump out products, while Microsoft is their golden parachute into a safety net until the turmoil blows over.

Does Take 2 or EA have some sex scandals you are aware of? If not, you really should just shut the fukk up for a solid 6 months, might do your life some good.

Take 2 is more about (except with NBA 2k) long term development and transactions on the games they have out once they are out.

The companies couldn't co-exist if they wanted to.

Also theirs 0 incentive for either of them to team up.

Do I think if Microsoft wrote Take 2 a check for $50 billion, theyd sell? yes. But the government would step in at that point.

the company cultures are 2 different.

Honestly one of the reasons this Activision Blizzard shyt is the way it is, when they merged fans of both sides knew this shyt would fall apart eventually. Took longer than most would think actually.

Activision, like EA, is all about quick turn arounds even if the game is broken etc.

Blizzard, like Take 2, is more about polishing a game until its mostly ready as possible and releasing whenever they want

Activision had more power than Blizzard and Blizzard games have took a huge quality hit since the merger because of unfinished products, rushed story lines, expansions/dlcs, etc.
