You know what....what if EA and Take 2 mob up.
That’s a lot of mediocre games….

If the Activision deal bars MS from further publisher acquisitions, then Xbox should just cop WB Montreal; Monolith Studios, Rocksteady, Netherealm, a 10+ year DC license agreement for games, and Nihom Falcon(Trails of Cold Steel devs, a JRPG series).

Will the Microsoft-Activision Deal Get Done? Wall Street Gives It Just a 60% Chance.
Imagine
This most likely will get passed through but it doesn’t bode well for any future major acquisitions they want to make. Take Two and EA are most def off the table after this
lol at this not going through.
But I do think it rules out MS being allowed to buy EA or Take 2 in the future
You know what....what if EA and Take 2 mob up.
why would companies not in financial issues or company turmoil just sell ?
I’m not sure why you think selling a assload of games and mtx means anything when microsoft just bought acitvision. They own candy crush, WoW, and CoD…..
American companies?
The Dollar. that simple.
And EA and Take 2 wouldn't be a merger, but I don't wanna put that kinda fukkery in the air.
EA and Take 2 are completely opposite company mind sets.. EA is about mass products and quick turn arounds, at the expense of game quality if needed.
Take 2 is more about (except with NBA 2k) long term development and transactions on the games they have out once they are out.
The companies couldn't co-exist if they wanted to.
Also theirs 0 incentive for either of them to team up.
Do I think if Microsoft wrote Take 2 a check for $50 billion, theyd sell? yes. But the government would step in at that point.
the company cultures are 2 different.Best of both worlds if they Voltron.
Yep, Highly doubt the Feds would let MS buy the last 2 major American Publishers for Monopoly reasons.
But EA and T2 combining..... could be interesting
hate to break it to you playa, but Tencent owns RIOT
Which means Microsoft ain't about to buy em. And btw, Tencent owns stakes in virtually every major publisher/developer in the game. ActaBlizz included.
