I kept thinking Obama wanted to actually decriminalize and do something big but either wanted to have laws like the "American jobs act" passed and other actual jobs bills along with immigration reform.
in short basically I got the feeling he did not expect at this point in his presidency to have only done health care pretty much.....and did not want to just decriminalize now
man I don't know.....
the one thing I gotta say about barack is that unlike Reagan and Clinton(black folks love to slurp up this dude just cause of the economy and act like he wasn't horrible with the drug war) he did not actually fight for new legislation to continue the drug war.....
yeah as michelle told us in her book we know about the federal grant that gives money to law enforcement to tackle the drug war but as she herself said in the book I think it was primarily to not make law enforcement lose jobs in the middle of an economic crisis....
but yeah right now im thinking he wants to make all these other economic bills, immigration, gun control to become laws before he focuses on decriminilazation .....

lol, that should tell u everything, along with him changing his stance on Israeli settlements.
He has really had too many good ideas for the economy - just letting big banks be big banks and continuing the trickle down politics of the 80's.
He's focusing on gun control - when the guns aren't even the issue there.

guns ARE the issue...don't come in here with no "buu...butt Chicago has some of the strictest gun control"
Chicago also has some of the weakest sentencing laws and gun trafficking is not even a felony in the country(a big reason) which is one of the things they wanted to change
also its the states around Illinois that have the weak gun laws where folks can just get guns....the same way folks in ny can go to Virginia to get guns easier.....
your underestimating how much universal background checks would change everything also....
that and the things I am mentioning above....this is gonna be Obamacare 2.0 with people oonce again not learning and being surprised they were wrong again and the actual bill ends up working
