Tiki had that messy situation where he left his pregnant wife or some shyt because he got caught cheatingThat's always been funny to me because I remember back then Tiki loved promoting himself as some kind of new age Renaissance Negro who was bigger than football and didn't need it. He loved talking about his future outside of football and wanting to prove himself different, and now, while not even talking about it, Strahan went ahead and did everything Tiki envisioned for himself. I picture Tiki sitting on his couch likeevery.... single.... time... that gap toothed niigga showed up on his TV screen... Morning show? check... NFL Sunday show? check... Didn't this niigga host a couple game shows, too?
I think that hurt him..you can't be sleezy while being a black man...

If we going by how difficult it would be to land a particular gig or accomplishment then what Strahan has done post NFL is definitely more difficult than what he did on the field.

Yeah, he's starting to come back, but he was taking a lot of Ls along the way, while Strahan has been doing nothing but winning (wack sticom aside). I know Tiki was on some morning show at one point, and trying to present himself as a serious reporter/journalist instead of "ex-jock", but he wound up striking out there. It wouldn't have been as bad if he hadn't openly been spitting about where he saw himself... Strahan, to my knowledge, never spoke on that stuff and now the next thing I see is this niigga everywhere on TV, on the red carpet at the Oscars

Uhh, I kinda get what you're saying, but what Strahan was doing on the field came natural to him, so even though being a talking head on TV may seem easy compared to playing a violent sport, don't be so quick to dismiss how difficult the journey has been. Strahan is a dude that was scared to even speak in public without putting his hand over his mouth until he was in college. You gotta remember a lot of these football players have idiosyncrasies and were bullied as kids which is how they fuel their competitive fire. Someone like him, as a kid being bullied about his teeth and his lisp and being overweight...being on live TV speaking while millions around the world are watching you is probably the last thing he thought he'd ever be doing as a kid.
