i went to school for broadcasting (sports media) and it was sad to see how many people had their dreams dashed when they got put in front of that camera. they would all talk before being put on camera bout how they always wanted to do it and were already punching their card to being famous - life comes at you fast when they make that hand signal saying "you're live" thodoesnt matter...
...get in front of a camera and see how entertaining you are.
shyt aint easy...and not everybody can pull it off.

out of the 20 people, 3 were actually good. you could see them one day being capable - if they got lucky enough - me included. but i also act, so i never got stage/camera fright fortunately.
strahan is the definition of charisma.
I been doing public speaking for 8 years,it's more of mental thing then anything. And that my friends is the real point made.
I did public speaking and a little acting as a kid so I had no stage fright either but to do able to pull if off flawlessly is more work than people realize.
Obama and Clinton apart from their natural charisma actually practised a lot in front of the mirror and in front of his staff before a speech. You can see his bts with key on you tube. It's a lot of work to dedicate time to that specific craft because it's deceptively tricky. Body language and voice tone counts for a lot
Even out of those who have no stage fright, less than 10% will have a "stage presence" and even less will have stage presence and charisma put together.
There is a reason why public speaking is at the top of most phobias.
HOW DOES THIS DUDE DO THIS SHOW WITH THIS TERRIBLE LISP???
every time I listen to him, it's like nails on a chalkboard
I never watched it, however, I respected the idea of it. It was a vehicle to started Mike on this journey that not many people know about. They see mike on GMA and aren’t even aware of half the stuff he’s had to endure.Yes...yes we are...
Being charismatic is a a little more than a “mental thing”.I been doing public speaking for 8 years,it's more of mental thing then anything.
Tiki retired and missed out on a Super Bowl ring & HOF career to pursue the things that Strahan has accomplished.
I agree but some are born with it some aren't .Like I said public speaking is mental thing, most people are afraid of public speaking due to the crowd, not everyone who speaks wants to be charismatic,it's more about efficiencyBeing charismatic is a a little more than a “mental thing”.
