It always irked me how The Joker and Vicki Vale were both taller than Batman 
but nitpicking aside he was a great "Batman". I prefer Bale when it comes to Bruce Wayne

To me those Burton Batman movies did not age well at all.....it was good for the time but watch it now and its like 
. Some movies are timeless classics that you can watch 20 years later with no problems. That aint one of them. Watch it now and it seems dated as hell

"Batman Returns" Definitely birthed the Nolan films. How was that not as dark and demented as what happen with Heath as The Joker and the Two Face. I grew up on the Keaton films so I have my bias but they were solid comic book movie that were ORIGINAL for their time. Tim brought his own style to it and both of these films hold up. "Returns" wasn't better than part 1 cause Jack just knocked out the park as well as Michael and Kim. But "Returns" was a solid follow up and the things people praised Nolan for, Tim did 20 years earlier and got criticised for it cause it was too "Dark" for kids. I love watching "Returns" now as an adult cause there is a lot of adult humor in it for a comic book/superhero film. In Closing For the record:

I agree with your last statement. I got no problem with the darkness of it or the tone or anything like that. My problem comes from the writing that's it. But I put that aside to sit back and enjoy it but the writing and structure just throws me off now as an adult

Yeah anytime he's faced with a fight he's flabergasted. Like wearing that suit isn't a target. He blows a man up for no reason lol. Penguin and batman are only beefing in the beginning because they're penguin and batman..man I don't want to get into it because cats here act like you can't like a movie while still acknowledging its flaws

i would say that michelle's catwoman is equally as iconic as jack's joker.
to this day it is still the go-to catwoman portrayal. her performance basically defined the character from that point on.

batman is the still the central character of returns. burton didn't spend any more time on penguin and catwoman than nolan did on joker and harvey dent.

I don't think it's great tho that's the point. It's good at points but there's too much taking away from it for me to call it great. There's a difference between minor flaws and big ones and I think this movie has big ones. But that doesn't take away my enjoyment of it. I've just got major issues with it
