he was cool back then, but now knowing more of Bruce's back story especially with the League of Assassins, no way Keaton looked or fought like a trained assassin in Bat 89 and it still funny that he couldn't turn his head in that bat suit

every other line was cheesy as fukk (how does batman and robin get hate for this and not batman returns?)
story made no sense (catwomans origins, max schrek had no point to the story, penguins plans were stupid)
batman was barely in the movie for the first half
Penguin had some questionable dialogue but other than that, it had a great tone, plus the origin stories were well done so I don't know why you hate those so much.

Look I like Batman Returns...got the steelbook and everything but objectively, it has a lot of issues..a lot. doesn't mean it's not a fun movie or even a good..ish movie but it's clearly flawed
