I ran track and field all 4 years in high school, and in my experience, the dudes who won races were the dudes who worked hardest at practice. Dudes of all colors would walk away with gold medals.
I ran mid distance in AZ, Native American runners were the dudes winning the most in my races, go figure. But those dudes put in work to get there.

The Kenyans dont do sprinting. And its about sprinting not the middle and long distance running events
Thats a small sample. In GA if you go to a track meet for a Single A school (usually made up of white private schools and very small schools) you will see white kids winning races. But look at their times, they are slow as shyt. They dont allow those schools to run against the AAAAA schools which have very large populations. At those schools the black kids are dominant.
Plus you talking about AZ, that would be like me referencing a track meet in North Dakota. A guy who wins gold in North Dakota isnt facing the competetion he would in a state like Cali, Georgia, Florida, etc... You can work hard but if the guy next to you is just naturally faster than you and works just as hard most likely you wont beat him.

Michael Johnson is correct. Our slave ancestry plays a role in our physical dominance. Jamaica was the #1 slave island in the West Indies. Its the same thing with animal breeding. Humans are animals in a way.

We also are more agile and have better footwork. Which is the real reason we dominate the basketball.

Every kid that grew up in the hood most likely played basketball damn near every day from a very young age. And research has showed that motor learning patterns are most easily developed in young kids. So Id theorize that the reason the black athlete just seems for athletic and coordinated for the most part is because of their "nurturing."
However, things like vertical jump, being explosive in general, and speed are not very trainable. Obviously they can be increased, but not by much. (Nature.)
However, general Strength can easily be increased in anyone. Muscular endurance as well. (Nurture.)
