Janet is known for sing and especially dancing. That's her biggest legacy. That was influenced by mj. Before she got some success with jimmy jam and Terry Lewis and really made a name for herself she was recognized as micheal`s little sister. That's where she benefited from in the beginning.

Mj was already huge as the lead singer for the Jackson 5 and already had a successful album with off the wall that won him a grammy. I'm not sure why you're bringing up thriller when mike was famous and successful well before that.

I brought up thriller the first time around because he was at the height of his career and went out of way to take his brothers on tour with him. That's the only relation I made when it came to anything about thriller.
