I think the beef with Jermaine happen around the time Michael wanted to be Barry's son, before he fell for Diana and she damaged the guy's heart forever and made em a hermit

what's the book called?

it's called "Remember the Time: Protecting Michael Jackson in his final days"

it's a must read even for the most casual MJ fan

2 stories in this book made me kind of :mjcry:

1) he went to a club once completely outside of the view of the people in there, the deejay started playing his OLD stuff and the place went crazy. hit the dance floor with the quickness - MIKE was shocked, he thought nobody played his shyt anymore and nobody was feeling him like that...they (bodyguards) had to tell him "HELL YEAH THEY STILL PLAY YOUR shyt!!"

2) They pulled up next to a bar once and mike was in the back enamored with all the people in there just socializing and enjoying the atmosphere - mike said "one day i'm gonna go in there and order us a round! we're gonna have fun guys!" they entertained him like a child on some "oh yeah man, we will one day, yeah..:rudy:"

he was so famous that the thought of just doing the most mundane everyday shyt would fascinate him...he'd never done any of that before.

Stop making bullshyt threads.

Michael fukking named his son Prince
Not because of Prince Nelson you dumbfukk.

Check out all the posts shytting on Prince before today's bump. Hella nikkas hating him, but now that he croaked, it's all "Prince is GOAT!! :mjcry:" :rudy:

fukk Prince, dude was a fakkit. I always hated that little shyt, wanted to give him the fade. Some songs were dope, but most were shyt. Batdance was shyt, Get Off wasn't shyt. Kiss is kinda gay, just most of his shyt is pure shyt. I just got no respect for small lil nikkas like him, he probably never even touched a bench press.

:salute: to :mj:, the true King. Respect to him for shytting all over Prince.

yea its like that dj quik vs. dr dre comparison that I always see on here.

quik & prince are clearly the superior musical talents but they didn't have THAT CHIT like dre & mike.

I want to halfway backtrack on that.

cuz prince crossed genres a lot now that I think about it. a lot of that stuff just wasn't for me.

i'd still side with mike tho.

The King of Pop and His Royal Badness remained competitive to the end. As Jackson prepared for his big comeback at the O2 Arena in London in 2009, he reportedly wanted to make sure his 50-date residency beat Prince’s 2007 record of playing 21 nights to an estimated 350,000 people. Notoriously unable to sleep at night, Jackson told director Kenny Ortega that he was buzzing with creative ideas and couldn’t “turn it off”. Ortega asked if Jackson might possibly put these ideas on hold until after the concert series had begun. “You don’t understand,” Jackson replied. “If I’m not there to receive these ideas, God might give them to Prince.”

A lot of nikkas slandering Prince here were the same ones crying buckets in that RIP thread. Both of them nikkas were great in my eyes and lets not sleep on Prince's catalog:
Prince
Sign O the times
Batman Soundtrack
1999
Purple Rain Soundtrack
Musicology
Gold Experience
Empancipation(personal favorite)
Diamonds and Pearls

to name. The battle with Warner Bros may have hurt his catalog because he was just releasing throwaways along with dropping way too many albums but he moved to his own beat and didn't care about Billboards.

A mashup tape between MJ and Prince is LONG overdue
