I prefer Michael Jackson way more. He's just THE star of stars to me. He's one of the most well-known people to ever be born. There is no one that shines brighter than mj. There's always going to about be the question of who's the next Michael Jackson.

Usher, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Omarion, and Jason Derulo all inspired to be like mj.

The dude created the last and final phase of contemporary dance. Nobody's gonna elevate it.

We'll never see another artist with the same aura, creativity, fluidity, and musical talent as mj.

Mj is the standard of superstardom. He's what most artist try to reach or surpass, but always fail. All he knows is music. His whole life is music. Dude was trained and built to be the greatest.

He's one of the most well-known people to ever be born. Gotta be top five all time.

I respect prince and he's a legend also, but he just isn't touching mj. Prince is ONE of the brightest stars, but he isn't THE brightest star like mj.

excerpt from michael jacksons bodyguards' book:

"Jackson loved to walk around in public, and would often go shopping in creative disguises, dressing like anything from a biker to a mummy. In the summer of 2007, Jackson vacationed in secret at a mansion 10 minutes outside of Middleburg, Va. When he wanted to shop at the local Walmart, he donned a veil, with Whitfield trailing 5 feet behind.

But rather than deflecting attention, the veil made the store’s security guard suspicious that he was going to rob the place. Police were called, and Whitfield needed to diffuse the situation, but didn’t want to reveal that it was Jackson, because a mob always managed to form when that happened. So he convinced the police officer that the man under the veil was Prince. The police backed off, and crowds that had started to form began to disperse.

As it happened, Jackson considered Prince a fierce rival. When he was later told that he had been represented as Prince, he laughed and replied, “No wonder they left us alone.”"

Prince Vs Mj is the greatest battle of equals ever. cantr eally put one over another. like The Beatles vs The Stones, really The Beatles are better. or Ali vs Frazier, really Ali getting the nod. I dont see how you can put MJ over Prince or Prince over MJ. impossibe. the 2 GOATS alive and in their prime at the same time. :wow:

if you are a great artist, don't you have to create great art? :patrice:

people can say what they will about michael jackson, but every album he dropped as a solo artist contained multiple classic or great records.:manny:

Nah, MJ is so much greater in every single aspect except number of albums but still if you look at their combined sales, it's no match. Maybe Prince had the better movie?

I'm not saying Prince isn't good. He's a legend among legends. But MJ was the God.
