Just got done watching it and MBJ wasn’t as bad as ppl made him out to be. The movie had pacing issues and some scenes dragged out longer than needed while some scenes could’ve been flushed out more.

Yes. Equilibrium had shyt like this:

Equilibrium also felt like a complete movie. This movie felt like a lot of shyt was missing.

Michael B. Jordan's acting being kinda didn't help either.

Michael Shannon was solid though .

Overall, it wasn't terrible but it was underwhelming.

It got me interested in the book though so at least there's that.

maybe we have different scales of bad acting. it wasn't good that's for sure and will be one of his weaker performances. i was expecting a very bad performance, around 2-3/10. something like 13 reasons why bad (only using this because my girl was watching season 2 and the acting was near bottom of the barrel for me). i give his performance around a 5.

a 5/10 is below average for me and that's what it is to me.

Verdict is still out for me on that, he did fantastic in Creed and Black Panther. I think breh needs to be smart with his career now, no more shytty cheap projects. He needs to raise his profile with mainstream Hollywood.
