And y'all had Jimmy Gs contract (reset the market in 18) on the books for the SB and title game appearances in 19 & 21, so even that point is off.

The issue wasn't paying Dak, it was sitting on their hands for two years when they could've gotten his extension done in the summer of 2019 with Wentz & Goff. That would've allowed them to use the final year of his rookie deal and manipulate the cap hits as needed. Playing that franchise tag game was stupid and stripped them of any flexibility.

The cowboys drafted a drug addict with a second round pick who never did anything but go to Denver in the off season and get hurt

They then replaced him with a nikka named Taco who aint even in the league...didn't even make it past his rookie contract...

The knock on Trysten Hill was that he didn't have a high motor and he had a bad attitude...cowboys drafted him...and then cut him for not playing hard and having a bad attitude
