I got one of those $0.99/3mos deals for a Starz subscription a few months ago in order to watch the first couple seasons. Show still holds up.

In my top 3 all time series.

I wear espadrilles, Gucci, Saint Laurent, Dolce Gabbana, and I wonder if it came from watching this as a kid. It's always cliche, but still fascinating how much your childhood influences you. Heat was a movie i watched way before I could really comprehend, Miami Vice too, and they somehow shape parts of you.

First time in South Beach, room at the Edition, staring out at the ocean, felt like connecting with all those Miami Vice episodes as a kid.

I haven't watched since I was a little...little kid, like 4 years old. I remember that white Testarossa and its been one if not my favorite car ever since.

I may watch this again again, because my favorite cop show, New York Undercover basically was a 90's redux of it.

Just got back from Miami again and was thinking about the show and movie, and seeing some places where they shot this

One of the places I stayed, was the Esme way down in South Beach, Espanola Way, which is like re done in the Art Deco style of the 80's, it's close to where they shot Scarface too, love Miami, the show does a good job of giving you Miami, all the beauty, seduction, glamour, fashion, sexuality and violence, I would have loved to grow up in South Beach.

Even watched a few episodes before I left lol
