Because they bought into the idea that if everything goes right, they are contenders and people who are not insane tried to tell them... :manny:
In Riley’s defense, if all I got at the end of a 15-67 season was Michael Beasley, I’d probably never tank again either :bryan:

Jabari in Miami would be great for Jabari's case. Miami would develop him into a stronger, realer nikka as a defender. His 3 pt potential would be great for their offense
rule of 3. Jabari is doomed.
Throw in Bam and deal
give em Whitmore and picks

Rockets make the playoffs

Whitmore destroys Heat culture.

We all win

Disrespectful to whom?

I’d imagine it’s a joint decision between Miami and Jimmy.
Butler at first because they been floating trading him the past few years. shyt don't make sense. He's definitely a player you want to build around. Heat failed to do that.

But I'm seeing that he can opt out in 2025. So sounds like he is ready to move one from all the chatter. And god damn these years move fast. I can't believe he's 35. So I get it from the Heat's prospective. I thought he was 30 :dead:

Been wondering if he's actually been hurt this season or they've just been sitting him out so he doesn't get hurt and lose more value, he's been 20+ in 5 outta his last 9 games so it ain't like he's cooked, I'm annoyed cuz I expected contract year Jimmy to go crazy, drafted him on my fantasy squad

Golden State doesn't need another guy who's gonna be inconsistent scoring, might push Steph over the edge

Houston could be crazy :lupe: butler and Brooks with Ime coaching sounds like aggressive defense and toughness so Green and Sengoon can cook, but they'd have to figure out the lineups, don't wanna bench Brooks off GP and fukk up the chemistry

Dallas could work tho he'd be in a way smaller role
Still holding Green as a key to being a contender is a recipe for disaster

I'd wanna deal with GS if I was Miami. Choosing what to pay Kuminga and having Wiggins is better than whatever Houston could offer unless they put Amen Thompson on the table, which it sounds like they will not.

Jalen Green, Steven Adams and Jabari Smith does not sound appealing.
