Miami and esp its fans has to understand ur not getting a star esp a young one in return for Butler at this point...this isnt 2017.

Youre getting back matching contracts, filler and some picks maybe.

Youre not getting D Fox or Zion or KD for a 36 yr old with arthritis.Any team trading for Yimmy is gonna be look him to add him to a team ready to make a run...these dumbass trades of KD for Jimmy are fan fiction and annoying.
Who said that :dahell:? We’re all in the season thread and various threads on this topic mostly saying “yeah this core team’s window is shut so let’s trade Jimmy to a contender for some picks and players to help get the rebuild started” or something to that effect.

GS probably would as it’s better than the shyt that they’re trotting out there now.

All he needs is just one team.

I dont know if they would do that but it would severely hamper any other moves they could make actually theyre hands would be tied because theyre already at the 2nd tax apron....

Maybe the heat didn’t have any players or picks the nets wanted. If it was an owner thing, that’s Arison and not Riley. I went over the Dame stuff. Joe Cronin’s top priority was to trade him anywhere but Miami. He wasn’t even willing to entertain any talks that didn’t include Jimmy or Bam which would’ve put both teams on what Riley calls the treadmill of mediocrity which would’ve made any trade a waste of time for both of them. He just simply wasn’t willing to trade him to the Heat at the end of the day unless the Heat gave up so much for him that the deal would hurt them. They could’ve gone after Kyrie, but he was available at the point where he was bringing the most baggage. My stance when Har_en was available was to stay the hell away from him.

The roster is a good enough supporting cast for a legit top guy, but a lot of all star caliber guys who become available aren’t genuine #1 scorer type players you need to build a real contender.
Nets were going to trade KD where he wanted to go, you can say it was a thank you for not being a full weirdo like Kyrie. I fully believe had Miami came correct they would've got a deal done for KD. It might've gone further than he's shown he wants to go but he could've been there. But that's not what happened. Instead it's a coulda, woulda just like too many of these are for Miami which is my point.

The Portland situation, Miami wasn't trying to negotiate in good faith and the Blazers got spiteful. That's what I mean by coming correct and how Riley has a bit of Ainge in him. If all that about how hard it is to get players in can be true like you said, you can't let multiple players slip past. What you're saying makes all the sense in the world but I'm sorry, I'm not accepting any bail because all it takes is landing one and they're on different ground right now.

He's supposed to be the Godfather, he's supposed to be a top GM with a top coach and a place where players want to be. He's supposed to be the deal maker. Instead only power he's shown is putting down his own player then refusing to trade him. I have no doubt Jimmy's a dikk, that doesn't mean Riley should be doing this shyt anymore and his mouth isn't what lead to all this. I've never seen a GM, owner, or coach in any sport do what he did

No he didnt. Shams said jimmy preferred a trade to a contender, and listed 4 teams. Now jimmy prefers to go anywherre else.

The agent acted like Jimmy never wanted a trade. We all know that was bullshyt. He was just tight his name got mentioned. It is common for agents to go around the league and see if theres interest in their guy. Youre the one defending a clown

YOU MADE THIS UP.

ONCE AGAIN SHAMS
SAID THE AGENT SAID
JIMMY WOULD ONLY GO
TO THOSS DESTINATIONS...

THE AGENT CALLED CAP
BECAUSE HE NEVER TOLD SHAMS
ANYTHING SO THERES NO
REASON SHAMS SHOULD HAVE
PUT HIS NAME IN THE TWEET

THE AGENT NEVER SAID
JIMMY DIDNT WANT TO
BE TRADED IN GENERAL.

THERES SOME SLOW nikkaS
ON THIS SITE.

He would have to do them all the solid in opting out the next year of that deal at a lower amount.

He’ll have to do it regardless of where he goes IMO as even if teams would offer him the max, it wouldn’t be conductive if he wants to win under the new CBA.

Unfortunately for him, he doesn’t have a Philly deal waiting in the wings for him like PG did.

That’s probably what happened, that it was those 4 teams on the wish list

But with the exception of golden state, there isn’t a trade that works for Dallas and Phoenix and Houston wasn’t interested

So now he’s willing to go anywhere else

Youre a liar too. Shams never reported jimmy wanted to go to only those teams. He said he simply preferrred a trade to a contender.

Shams never said he was told by Lee. He said Lee has indicated to sources around the league, which is agency standard when guys want out. Should he have put his name out? Maybe not, but either shams wasnt kidding around when he did it.

You dying on this retarded hill is weird. Shams called their bluff and won.

"Butler’s agent, Bernie Lee, has told people around the league that his client would be open to moving on from the Heat to join the Warriors, Mavericks or Rockets."

:camby:WHY IS HIS PUTTING THAT
MANS NAME IN PRINT
WHEN HE NEVER HEARD IT FROM THAT MAN?

Jimmy is better than every player not named Steph, that is without a doubt true, but the problem is, they'd need to gut so much of their depth to accomodate his salary that it would make them a worse team. The Warriors wouldn't mortgage all hope of having a future for someone like Jimmy, anyway. The acquisition in a vacuum wouldn't even put them over the top for this season.
