I was hoping he'd opt out. I wanted spo to have no choice but to play the young players (Justise and Ennis). As long as Deng is there Ennis wont get PT because he sucks on D.

Dont get me wrong I like Deng .
But lets be clear, wether he leaves this summer or next summer the bottom line is he was never going to stay here beyond next year no matter what so might as well get our young SFs ready by throwing them into the fire

I never cared for Chalmers' game. Remember i was the one saying I preferred Carlos Arroyo or Chris Quinn over his ass back in the day.

But i'll admit he was on a mission last year. Then again he did publicly say he was gonna turn some heads before the season started. He was balling out of his mind for a stretch.... until he hit a wall and went back to the same ol Mario we knew

i think it was in part to his increased role as a scorer as opposed to spotting up more. I would expect his avg to go up this season since he won't be expected to do more this season.

in the press conference someone asked him if he was gonna bulk up to be able to guard PFs...I hope not, I want him to be a guy who guards PGs, SGs, and SFs
