Breh, no rookie in the entire draft is gonna have a bigger impact that Deng because rookies aren't that good.
I know us Heat Brehs don't really be dealing with a lot of draft picks outside of the home runs like Wade but we REALLY got stop expecting our rookies to honestly contribute to a championship squad.
They simply don't do that unless they're transcendent players (Bird, Wade, Lebron, Magic, Duncan, etc). Napier and Ennis had their biggest issues because we expected them to be NBA-acclimated (Spo included) due to how hype we were to "show everyone that we bigger than Lebron" and those expectations damaged their confidence plus playing time.
We hear that Justise Is NBA ready and we expecting him to look like a decent NBA starter but it's just not viable thought process so we should look at the things our young guys did well and how they played over their box score stats or how many wins they possible added.
Plugging Winslow in for Deng and expecting a Deng-ish contribution is just gonna annoy us. Winslow isn't as good as Deng just like Napier wasn't as good as Chalmers.
