Javale Mcgee is getting more than the vet min thrown his way, probably by multiple teams. he's already been mentioned as an option in Sacramento reuniting with George Karl.
Why would he go into a situation where his main reason to go (Karl) might be on the way out.

I heard he likes PAWGS and light skinned chicks. Just let him hang out in South Beach for a weekend and watch him sign for half his asking price

Because we didnt work out Winslow doesnt mean anything. Pat said he was one of the top players they had in the draft. So obviously they scouted him throughout the year.

They just thought we had no shot at him & didn't bother to work him out. Understandable honestly. He fits everything we want in a player.

We took a SG :beli:

Maybe we can find a big in the summer league
I dont see why people keep saying this. We are just fine with Bosh, McRoberts, Whiteside, Birdman and UD.

UD can give us another year of 10-12 minutes quality minutes per game. Anything beyond that is... desperation.
Birdman is still serviceable.

Perhaps Varnado is in the mix :manny:

I think we need some insurance behind Whiteside. Birdman was showing some signs of :flabbynsick: with the injuries last year

He was playing too many minutes because of Bosh's illness. + Whiteside missed games too if i'm not mistaken.

Again, for ou aging players like Wade and Birdman the key is to get quality minutes instead of quantity.
  • Keep Birdman under 27 min/g and we're good.
  • Keep Wade under 32 min/g we should be awesome.
  • Keep UD under 12 and you can still get good production from him
Remembe rhow fresh Zo looked his last year with us? Thats because he backed up Shaq and didnt have to pace himself. He could wild out in his 20 minutes of action

agreed, everytime Birdman lands i think he's gonna get hurt. UD...man....yeah it would be good if we could find a legit Center

Wade County
Im not sure i like this but it's a gamble worth taking, i guess.

I say this because if we didn't work him out and took him shows we didn't do our du diligence on the guy. There must have been something that scared those other teams away. I like to think those other teams aren idiots.
I'm just saying everyone and their mama had him going before Stanley Johnson and a few others that ended up going before him :manny:
Again, i hope we lucked out and got the steal of the draft jus like we did Wade but just being cautious.
It's as simple as luck for us, fit for some teams, and poor preparation for others. He was mostly projected to go at 5, 7, or 8. Dropping to 10 doesn't mean he's a bust or has big issues. If he had that Perry Jones drop, then I'd agree.

Sacramento has 2s and 3s. Orlando took the bigger guy. Denver wants to keep Wilson Chandler & they drafted Garry Harris last year. SVG fukked up though. They probably scouted Stanley heavy, fell in love with his game, and couldn't say no even when Justise fell into their lap. Charlotte is a dumpster fire (Jordan wanted Frank) & the Lamb/Batum trades plus MKG meant they didn't need a 2 or 3 anyway.

So let's celebrate somehow getting an elite wing player that can be the heir apparent to D.Wade. :blessed:

Sign McGee for the vet mininum
Have Ennis; Zoran, Tyler Johnson, Chalmers, and Bazz battle it out in training camp for the PG and SG/SF spots in the rotation. Whomever loses, gets sent to the D League to develop.
Roll with a deep rotation, win 43-47 games, and maybe make the conference finals next year :ehh:
Thank god we got Justise. He can log heavy minutes at the 2 and 3, and start in place of Wade/Deng when they miss games. Ennis won't cut it though. I like Zoran's game, and Riley wanted to sign him before he went to Phoenix, so maybe he'll get some playing time. But his lack of playing time could mean Spo doesn't like his defense.

Hopefully they can acquire a quality true SF though, so Justise can play more at the 2, keep D.Wade and Deng's minutes down, and keep Spo from playing Chalmers at the 2.

Breh im hoping you are right. Trust me. I'm just queezy about drafting a player we didnt workout after those who worked him out passed on him.

I'm sure you understand why im concerned.

Either way i looked at his highlights and am convinced we at least have a starting caliber SF. He looks better than Deng, already so im onboard.

Now to resign Wade
