Y'all got a good one with Winslow. He must have been terrible in interviews or something to have slipped that much.

But dude is a gem. I can see him being a top 10 player in the league some day if he wants it.

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
*notes from Riley Press Conference

  • wants to bring everyone back Wade, Dragic & Deng
  • haven't heard from Wade or Deng regarding opting in or out. and thats their right
  • will do everything to keep Wade
  • Surprised Winslow fell to them, hadn't worked him out or even talked to him until after pick
  • thinks they have a good group, who can be great together
  • compared Winslow to Draymond Green in terms of versatility
  • had texted back and forth with Dragic, thinks he wants to be in Miami
  • says rumors of trying to shed salary by trading rio/bird not true

We byke!!!

:blessed:

over/under on how many times eric reid drops the phrase "justise is served" next season?

:pachaha: cause it's true

Im not sure i like this but it's a gamble worth taking, i guess.

I say this because if we didn't work him out and took him shows we didn't do our du diligence on the guy. There must have been something that scared those other teams away. I like to think those other teams aren idiots.
I'm just saying everyone and their mama had him going before Stanley Johnson and a few others that ended up going before him :manny:
Again, i hope we lucked out and got the steal of the draft jus like we did Wade but just being cautious.

Lemongrass, cherries, alkaline water
Sidenote, we should throw the vet minium at Javale McGee.
Signing him might make our bench pretty good next year, maybe even good enough to make the ECF.
He play like he got a few screws loose upstairs, that worries me. But he's probably never been around this much talent, I'm in

Sign McGee for the vet mininum
Have Ennis; Zoran, Tyler Johnson, Chalmers, and Bazz battle it out in training camp for the PG and SG/SF spots in the rotation. Whomever loses, gets sent to the D League to develop.
Roll with a deep rotation, win 43-47 games, and maybe make the conference finals next year :ehh:

Workouts don't mean anything

Teams scout them all year and see them at the combine

The Wiz took Oubre and never had him in DC

We took Harold Miner in '92/'93 without working him out either.. I wouldnt say that was a success even tho i was a Harold Miner STAN myself. To this day i still hate Kevin Loughery and Brian SHaw over it/

Thus why, even though i hate Beasley STANS, i understand and laugh when i see so many Heat fans STAN Beasley. I been there :mjcry:

Javale Mcgee is getting more than the vet min thrown his way, probably by multiple teams. he's already been mentioned as an option in Sacramento reuniting with George Karl.
