he can grind in the league at 6'1,winning two national collegiate chips is nothing to sneeze at. he just needs time to develop and gain confidence. some mentoring from the vets would help, and support from the former video tape room manager.

A.I. 6'0

I. Thomas -Celtics 6'1

I Thomas - Pistons 6'1

J. Stockton 6'1

Bob Cousy 6'1

C.P. 6'0

Nate Archibald 6'1
He is the only player in NBA history to lead the league in scoring and assists in the same season.
So you're gonna compare Napier, a "favor pick" from Riley to Lebron (allegedly) to a bunch of unique Hall of Fame, some once in a lifetime type players? Really, breh? I mean... really? :comeon:

the post concerned the height of 6-footers ability to be highly effective in the league.
and the post failed to prove any point

unless the point you were making is that you have to be the best player in the league to be effective as 6 footer.

Yeah but some the players he mentioned were special players. Of course a 6 footer can play in the league. We're just saying when you lack size you gotta work extra hard to make up for it. Aint easy for a 6" player to make a layup over all these giants around the rim

Turner, Oubre, or Booker which one if Johnson is not on the board? :lupe:

Turner has shooting range like a guard.

Oubre has potential. can guard his position

Booker might be the shooter we need tho at the 2 guard spot

I roll with Turner because he can shoot and block shots, he can develop into a good defending pick and pop big.
Oubre needs to go to a team that will let him develop, and Devin is just a shooter.
Turner looks like he could play next to Hassan also with his shooting ability :lupe:
the problem would be, we still wouldn't have the shooter we need or a backup for Wade :lupe:

any collegiate player/starter that has gone thru the march madness national tournament and came out successful twice is special in my opinion. the uconn program is one of the best in these united states of america for both men and women. breh is from the home state of the great celtics franchise and the basketball hall of fame. he'll be ok in the nba if he stays healthy and keeps his head on str8.

@Primetime21 what if Turner is the best player tho? A 3 man big rotation of Whiteside, Bosh, and Turner doesn't sound too bad
our big man rotation right now is our greatest strength.
where we are weak is our guard rotation.
outside of wade and dragic there is pretty much nobody. and wade isn't going give us 82 games. we need a guy who can step in at the 2 more than anything else.
i feel like bosh, whiteside, mcroberts, and birdman gives us pretty everything we need at center and power forward.

I dont see the fit and he looks like a souped up Varnado

A souped up Varnado is better than the actual Varnado :manny:

If he is the best player available at 10, I have no problem with them taking him because you never know how it'll turn out. We drafted Wade in 03 when we had Eddie Jones and Alston at the guard positions.
