Just watched the video.

I actually see imitations of Puerto Rican, Mexican, and Spanish cultures. So why are Mexicans attributing it all to themselves?

That being said, I can see how folks can be offended even though I know Tyga meant no offense. Tyga needs to apologize and move on.

Spike is high key jealous of Tarantino and I can see why QT got a better profile
Spike qt and Martin Scorsese are my favorite directors/film makers Quentin has more movies that I like than spike but malcom x is up there with the godfather 1&2 to me and Denzel is otherworldly in that shyt I’ll always have respect for spike for the jordan commercials and his 80s-90s run do the right thing jungle fever clockers son of Sam I didn’t really like blackkklansman never seen chiraq but regardless I think all three of them are mega talented

Some Mexican rapper just made a diss song to Tyga. In the song he claims that Hip Hop ain't a black thang and that Latino B-Boys in the Bronx laid the foundation for Hip Hop. He says this at 1:39 of the video. So... these Mexicans are really trying to claim Hip Hop as some Mexican/Latino shyt?

Correct on all pointers sir great post. I'll always respect Spike for Malcolm X and what he's meant for the culture in regards to black directors in white dominated Hollywood but I feel like he has alot more misses then people like the admit.

Trolling, baiting, and trying to draw attention to his content.
On cue, people supposed to respond and debate him and give him free promotion.

Yeah just the back story of how it was made is incredible and trust me I’m a diehard nas fan so I get hits and misses and will accept both to me aslong as the great outweighs the average to bad I have no problem saying great artists go thru down turns that’s why I don’t judge drake or Kanye if u want to be hot for that long your gonna need help but if you don’t have that much help you’ll hit writers block or creative slumps but I def think spike has another fire movie in him but like all his fire movies it’s got to be in New York I think that’s always been his muse NewYork/Brooklyn based movies

In my opinion, it's not jealousy.,He called qt out for gratuitously adding racial slurs to his scripts. Denzel Washington stepped to him OVER THE SAME THING. Who is Denzel jealous of?

The Rappaport character represented an entire history of studio and tv execs who lampooned, ridiculed Black people. qt was more dangerous because he hid his clear contempt for Blacks under some " yo yo yo, I'm down " shyt. Spike was lampooning the current crop of execs and directors who were on that time.

The late John Singleton, who knew qt well said this about him.

At 3:45 mark, the late John Singleton speaks about this

Why do these people act like the vast majority of black people actually listen to Tyga? :dwillhuh:

It’s mostly pill popping white college chicks that listen to him, the last song I remember from him is Taste. :mjlol:
Last Tyga song I was listening to was "Rack City".
