Y’all sensationalist idiots didn’t even read the post

She wasn’t saying #MeToo is unrecognizable because of white feminists hijacking it.

She said it was unrecognizable because media outlets try and change the narrative that it’s a vindictive plot against men.

Each major news outlet has had a major anchor outed for sexual assault, Charlie Rose at CBS, Matt Lauerbat NBC, Bill O’Reilly at Fox. These outlets tried to delegitimize the movement to save face.

Y’all keep reacting to the headline tho :stopitslime:

She wasn't saying this when the cameras was all on her and the money was coming in. :sas1: all of a sudden, when folks moved on and treated it like all these other social justice fads, shes concerned now? She fukked up.

A few other posters and me were talking about this shyt like two months ago and even questioning her motives behind her org. She's a part of the nonprofit business complex.

That's b/c people are socialized to be shallow rather than critical thinkers.

Anybody with even a smidge of sense would be able to acknowledge what I'm saying. Sure male sexual deviancy is more visible and the extent to which some men cape for rape culture doesn't help, but that doesn't mean there aren't women predators who need to be discussed. The whole spirit of the movement is about stopping the silence. Some men don't even acknowledge rape culture and others actively discourage women from speaking up.

Ironically, some do the same to men as well. Some men glossing over female sexual assault of young boys on some "wish I had a teacher like her" type shyt makes it even harder to address male victimization.

You're ignoring the fact that the movement itself has remained silent in regards to the male victims in Hollywood, specifically, the male victim that suffered at the hands of one of the movement's members. Now that you bring up the teacher angle, women teachers and male students is practically an epidemic but you dont hear anyone, not even females, making it out to be a culture. But in Hollywood, the casting couch is made out to be rape culture when many of the women went to the casting couch knowing what it entailed and only called rape when they didnt get what they wanted. Why is that? How come we dont call what all the female teachers are doing "rape culture" as well?

I mean you say the movement is about stopping the silence and that it isnt about gender but they dont call out female predators. And in Hollywood, they dont include the male victims in their movement. That sounds like it is all about gender to me.

Why don't more males come out? Men themselves protect rape culture by trivializing male sexual assault and/or calling dudes gay if they complain.
The irony of men underestimating women is that they fly under radar when they are predators.

When Terry came out about the execs coming on to him, dudes clowned him. A large part of toxic masculinity is denying male vulnerability which ironically leaves the door wide open for toxic femininity and female predators to exist unchallenged.

Edit: I know dudes who have literally had to quit their jobs b/c of sexual harrassment from female bosses.

All of this shyt needs to be aired out but a lot of people seem to have a lot invested in women and men who have been sexually abused remaining silent.

They won't read the narrative b/c deep down many don't want the status quo to change. Many look forward to the fantasy of gaining money and/or power being able to act inappropriately as well.

Like they’re literally doing what the woman was talking about. Not listening to what they’re saying, glancing over the actual message, and just yelling in an echo chamber how they’re vindictive feminists. :snoop:

You make my point again as I knew I was forgetting someone else. How come metoo didnt pick up Terry Crews' as a part of the movement? You said it wasnt about gender yet they only seem to go to bat for females huh?

In the end,it doesnt matter what males say about sexual assault when you have a movement that, according to you, isnt about gender that can go to bat for them... Yet they remain oddly silent when it comes to abuse done against males. Like I said you say males have "rape culture" yet when woman after woman teacher is raping minor students in schools theres no talk of a rampant "rape culture". They're mostly given a slap on the wrist
