Gender is a smokescreen. Men don't have a monopoly on deviant sexual behavior. It only plays out like that b/c men are less likely to speak up are shamed for doing so and are more likely to be in positions that support this fukkery.

But there are men that have spoken out about Hollywood and "metoo" hasnt included them in the movement. And as I mentioned, one of their members groomed a young boy in the same manner that the movement is supposedly fighting against. Did metoo speak out against her and for the boy? Of course not because its about gender not "fighting against sexual assault" or whatever...

The Aziz situation turned it around. He was accused of not being able to read body language and badgering his way into sex and you also could see that many people don't even read the accusations seeing his name and "metoo" was enough for people to view him the same as Weinstein, he was even defended publically but that still wasn't enough because people have become so narcissistic that when they believe they're on the right side the can't afford to admit mistakes so they'll double down. Then you had people like the female who worked for HGTV who admitted to giving the host 15 blowjobs naming him during meetoo and people going after Kobe Bryant over a decade after he beat his case, or the sports reporter bringing up Derick Rose's cleared allegations after he had a good game made it seem very opportunistic. Those things make it seem like a witch hunt when you have women who've seemingly had sexual relationships for advancement (HGTV), Going after people who were acquitted (Kobe and D.Rose) or grouping all the accused men together when some have more severity.

the chris hardwick and asia argento scenarios did a lot of damage to that movement as well. when chris' ex came out and said that he was abusive in their relationship, he almost lost his shows behind it. then his ex girls before and after her came out and said that wasnt him, it wasnt enough. what eventually cleared him was the texts messages he saved after she cheated on him that pretty much painted the whole scenario as a vindictive attempt from an ex. and asia groomed a boy and when there was mentions of payoffs, she brought anthony bourdains name into it. as a self imposed leader, she blackeyed the whole damn thing

Spoken like someone who has never been in a work place environment.

You don’t have to be attractive to be at risk for sexual assault. You just have to be available in a position of vulnerability, so you see Raekwon now, but 4 months of seeing her 5 days a week amid sexual frustration and she’ll look like Cherokee D’Ass to you.
Yo I agree his OP tweet was disrespectful but what does work have to do with making ugly women being seen as attractive?

U make it sound like jail

I’d understand if u said she’s ugly to HIM...but some ppl find her attractive

Or just don’t care

Or rape ain’t about looks

That IS what I'm saying.

Because #MeToo primarily revolves around the workplace.

Asia Argento bodybagged the movement and herself when she got exposed.
The #metoo cannons also misfire when aimed at anybody other than black men.
The ugly "older women fukking preteen/teens" window was also cracking open and the energy dispersed out of FEAR. Y'all can wax poetic about alleged patriarchy all you want...we know white women AND other women engage in this, it was getting too hot, and they fumbled that woman's movement before she could cement herself like Kimberle Crenshaw.
Couldn't commoditize her pain fast enough.
#thepattern takes a rare loss via WW.

That's b/c people are socialized to be shallow rather than critical thinkers.

Anybody with even a smidge of sense would be able to acknowledge what I'm saying. Sure male sexual deviancy is more visible and the extent to which some men cape for rape culture doesn't help, but that doesn't mean there aren't women predators who need to be discussed. The whole spirit of the movement is about stopping the silence. Some men don't even acknowledge rape culture and others actively discourage women from speaking up.

Ironically, some do the same to men as well. Some men glossing over female sexual assault of young boys on some "wish I had a teacher like her" type shyt makes it even harder to address male victimization.
