Not gonna lie. The album disappointed me when it dropped. It just didn’t live up to the hype brought on by Bring The Pain, which was such a hard record. The All I Need Remix was a monumental record when it dropped though. All time great record. Too bad it wasn’t on the album :wtb:

How come it wasn’t?

Same reason Biggie's one more chance remix (both) weren't on Ready to Die.

Just the way it was back then with remixes sometimes. :yeshrug:

Tical dropped in November of 1994. The all i need remix. as someone mentioned, in the spring and was huge in the summer.

Yeah, and it was one of the songs of the summer, along with Biggie's "one more chance (remix)"
What a beautiful summer it was. Summer of 95 was the GOAT summer I’ll never forget it man.

All I need Remix
One More Chance Remix
Players Anthem
Get Money
I Got 5 On It
Brooklyn Zoo
Shimmy Shimmy Ya
Feel Me Flow
Put It On
Me Against The World
The Infamous...
Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...
E. 1999 Eternal

Just ridiculous all of the classic material dropping during one summer! :ohlawd: Some of those albums dropped in the spring but were just hitting all through the summer it was just crazy!

Also, the original “PLO Style” had a Luther Vandross “If this world we’re miiiiiiine....” vocal sample. It was on the maxi-single, but I can’t find it anywhere online.

I'm trying to track this down. Where did you hear the version with the Luther sample? As far as I can see, there was no PLO style maxi single....it was just the B-side on the Method Man 'Bring The Pain' single, which I have , and it's not on there....
Do you have a link to any more info on it?

Most disappointing album I can remember.

WU was huge back then and Meth was the biggest star. Had the lyrics the flow the charisma and backed by Rzas beats should have been an all time classic

It turned out to just be meh.

Songs like Bring the Pain and Release Yo Delf were so dope and a few other songs but overall the production was bland

i thought Tical 2000 was better

RZA lost all his beats in the flood :francis:
