I was the same at first, didn't have money and didn't try it until I got to that dungeon with the mimics.

The merchant and it's advanced class are kind of broken.
Almighty damage, no MP usage and high critical hit chance?

Especially once you have the weapon Fortune God's Abacus.
Triples the damage and cost, but at that point you'll probably have enough $ for it to not matter

I'll have to try that later in the game when my pockets are hopefully looking better.

Right now I just don't have the kind of bread to just be throwing money at nikkas especially with these weapons/armor being kind of expensive

I find the resolution with the prince to be one of the most absurd plot points in the game. The only thing more absurd was More's resolution.

Finally started this proper. Got to where I was before i stopped in the demo.

Maybe it's because it's the final build or because I'm playing on the Pro but the game looks much cleaner. Lower resolution textures aren't as apparent and it's considerably less jagged in appearance. Probably actually applied AA. Loading transitions have gotten smoother as well.

And bringing back fusion spells like Persona 2

Finally bought it and have been having a blast. Are there any optimal Archetype setups for the characters or is it irrelevant? Also what's the best way to grind money, MAG and xp points?

Between Hulkenberg and Heismay with the setup of counter or dodge taking all the enemy remaining turns this should be irrelevant. The final boss was trivial to me and I was about level 70.

The protagonist being some astral projection with the prince's soul was kind of even the characters were like

Only things I'm really curious about at this point are -

1. Louis' motive for apparently wanting to destroy everything
2. Who the fukk More is and where/why he's imprisoned

Anyway I got about seven days until the final battle. I really feel like they could've given me an extra few weeks, I probably won't have time to do all those trials. I tried to beat that one with the flame dragon but after a while I gave up and left after a while he just does some attack that does 9999 damage and wipes my team out.
