Like @daze23 pointed out, there's Dx11 features everywhere, and the PS3/360 literally cannot do them as they are built around Dx9.

At this point I've given up on trying to keep up with this story. It's too all over the place.

When does this take place in the MGS universe?
I'm puzzled.shyt looks like some kind of MGS acid trip.
I'm having flashbacks to how things got convoluted at the end of MGS2.
it takes place after peace walker which was set in 1974. so it could be in the 1980s, or 90's. and it's definitely before MGS2 MGS4, and MGS rising. and it also depends on if the protagonist is solid snake or naked snake.
