I was gonna post that, yeah, the entire presentation of the game just doesn’t scream metal gear

its weird to me that Kojima completely switched engines from MGSV to Death Stranding and the latter still kind of retained the aesthetic almost to a T.

The Metal Gear Solid 3 remake will reuse the original game’s voice lines — with no changes

It’s not gonna be either because without Kojima it’s going to lack the sauce that makes these games special. There’s no way they could make it like RE or FF7 because the original crew that made those games are no longer there, they are at Kojima Productions.

And judging from the screenshots and title screen they ain’t putting the flourishes on it that we come to expect for the series. Like I said in the announcement thread if people want a new Metal Gear Solid game they are going to have to wait for whatever Kojima is making after DS2
