It terms of complete packages…
MGS> MGS3 > MGSV > MGS4 > MGS2

And I could make a case that if we were going strictly by todays standards of game mechanics and playability the order would be
MGSV > MGS 4 > MGS 3 > MGS 2 > MGS 1

I can’t take anyone who puts MGS 2 even in their top 3 serious

MGS2 was a mistake and Kojima himself knows that. Would have been a near flawless series if it wasn’t for the blunder that is named “Raiden”.

gameplay is good but has ridiculous amount of cutscenes, probably the worst before MGSV
