ok gotcha. i just got a burner account to use marketplace after being off facebook for a decade for the same reason last year but I ended up using a local platform again with more success. we used to have offer up but that's not in Canada anymore. we have kijiji which has lost a lot of steam to facebook but what i noticed on marketplace was scams galore. that turned me off of it almost immediately. there's more listings and traffic but also more scammers
