This is on going tech. As they further develop it it will get cheaper. Also people already spend that much on graphics cards now.

Yeah, but the specs aren't that great. They are saying the refresh rate is lower than the Quest 2 and locked at 90hz

developers probably
that price point is crazy, you can buy a ps5, xbox series x, and a oculus 2 for that price
I'll wait for the quest 3 and upgrade then along with ps vr 2
Thing is, they seem to be targeting enterprise level businesses. They want people using this in meetings and at work and shyt.

It'll flop especially at that price. I'm good with my oculus, maybe upgrade to the 3 if it's a big upgrade but not a necessity.

In other thoughts, they need to find a spokesperson cuz Zuck weird ass makes it uninteresting. Good thing you posted that other video to check out cuz the first one was unbearable.

Honestly, I don't think VR is ever going to be a must have. Meta is really investing and going all in on this, but I think eventually, they will shift their focus more on AR with reasonable applications and wearables that more people will use.

With AR, you already know everyone has a phone. Smart glasses is what is going to make things interesting, but not for VR, in the AR world.

But Zuck... keep spending that money homie

I'm glad they are sticking with it. That's about all I can say. If this was Google that shyt would have been deaded a while ago.
I guess, but there are reports that Meta's employee's don't even use the metaverse that they are building.

This really could be a situation where so many resources and money get poured into a product that just doesn't work... and is not even close to being ready for years.
