Men should have equal say when it comes to abortion

My ex fiance had a abortion behind my back which led to the disolvement of our relationship.

I agree, females can do whatever they want with their body. But if they decide to keep a baby and I don't want to keep the baby, she has the sole responsibility of raising and paying for the baby. I'm completely out of it. It's only fair.

I don't disagree with this, but I also can't understand why someone would want no part in his/her child's life - even if they didn't want the child.

Regarding the whole thing about whether a fetus is a baby....

Frankly, that is a really complicated issue. And rather than get into it, I'll just paraphrase something I read once:

A fetus or zygote may or may not be a baby. The mother, however, is inarguably a living person with rights, and in the debate between weighing the rights of a "maybe baby" and an adult human being, I'll side with the adult human being.

It would mean something because it's something that I would discuss with a person prior to jumping into bed with him. If you communicate with your partner and know you're on the same page, then a surprise abortion wouldn't be needed. You cannot dictate what a person should do with his/her body. If I told you that I don't want to have kids and force you to have a vasectomy, you wouldn't be pleased.

Men have tons of privileges women don't: high pay in the workplace...all of society is created to a man's standard. Women have one up when it comes to ONE thing: only we can carry a baby and men are still bytching and want to have some kind of a right to a person's body smh

In that same token, If you wanted kids and I went ahead and had a vasectomy, I'd be fukked up. But it's my body. These kind of choices can't be made by one person, as if having a child only affects one. And that other stuff sounds like some feminist agenda

you could be dating a chick. ya'll have a conversation about kids and you express not wanting to have any because you don't like kids. ya'll have sex and you use a rubber. the rubber breaks (a legit accident) and she gets pregnant. you express to her that she should abort because you don't want kids. she looks at you like and keeps the baby anyway. now you are trapped. not because you were irresponsible and didn't use birth control. it was because of an accident. but now, she (along with the family courts ) expect you to give a portion of your salary to a bytch that you don't plan to be with and a kid that you didn't want. how is that fair?

Everyone's definition doesn't matter though...it's the law's definition that does. My definition of justice could be an eye for an eye, but that doesn't mean it's right.
