so do u care to answer the question? :youngsabo:

If I didn't care about college then it's not something I would dissuade others from doing by warning them that they're going to be raped financially afterwards. I don't talk about things I don't care about...that's what bitter people do.

That was the point of my post.

Who's talking about a single parenthood, or being anti-family? I'm talking about a two-parent household that thrives and hasn't signed the modern marriage contract.

Oh you mean a common law marriage. Yeah, that's what we call that.

And if you're gonna do all that why not just get married? Since in your scenario we're talking about "a 2 parent household that thrives" so surely divorce is out of that equation.

nikkas just like to be rebels, I guess. Although rebelling against your own future generations doesn't seem very wise. :manny:

this is what im talkin about. you always find a slick way of wiggling around things. :mindblown: You have now changed the narritive of the conversation to some shyt about "people being bitter" Lets break it down in a more vanilla fashion. If you knew someone that was going into to anything (pick a field, profession, marriage etc)? would u warn them or not warn them about potential pitfalls? or would u be like "well i dont care about it so, i wouldnt say anything?

No, I'm not talking about a common law marriage. I'm talking about any kind of successful family that doesn't live under the modern marriage contract.

I don't understand why that concept is so foreign to some. Y'all need to venture outside of your own culture.

No, I'm not wiggling around anything. If someone comes to me after making what they consider a positive life decision...NO, I will not be the person who rains on their parade. The only time that would happen is if they asked me "what are the pitfalls or drawbacks?" Even then, my advice would be geared toward how to make their decision work for them given what I know rather than telling them all the negative stuff. I'm not a negative person like you. I'm not a dream killer. Why is that so hard to understand?

it aint rainin on parades. its about bein real. For example one of my close homies that is in the NFL was about to marry this chick. a chick that he only knew for about 3 or 4 months. He was all head over heels over this chick and was ready to give her the world. He didnt know about this chicks past, her groupie ways, he whorish ways etc. Me and the rest of the homies had to sit this nikka down and give him the real about this broad and the potential hazards of this. But i assume that we were "just bein negative" or "rainin on his parade" right? :comeon:

You could have simply told him to get a prenup.

I'm not against marriage but why would OP let his boy marry a former hoe, especially since his boy is an NFL player :why:

:dead: at letting him get married anyway

Because his boy is a grown ass many. Most celebrities and athletes marry groupies and hoes anyway. Get a prenup and live life.
