You ask most people why it's a such a necessity to get married, and it ultimately to boils down to: some choice tax benefits and some legal benefits in the rare case your wife runs off with your child or some other crazy scenario

For centuries people have been raising families just fine outside the confines of the modern marriage institution.




And I don't understand why people say stuff like this as if being married automatically makes you a responsible parent and being unmarried makes you irresponsible.

Besides the fact that there are tons of unhealthy and dysfunctional families built on marriage, what about people who live in societies that have different ideas of marriage than us? In cases where marriage has nothing to do with "love" and it's mainly an economic decision (as it has been historically). Are they helpless in raising their families?

All of what it takes to raise a family has nothing at all to doing with being married.

for centuries poverty has been systematically and factually created by everyone born out wedlock.
it is a sociological fact.
it is also,....why this country endorses destroying the familial unit to every other common American.
as it breeds poverty in a capitalistic prison colony.
the laws are made this way, to make you live in poverty.
so, guys with money can handle their admin on a failed marriage.
while, everyone else gets rolled into poverty, and a broken home.
