Your are speaking truth but its also easy to say that these dudes either picked wrong or were stupid. All the stuff you mentioned for the most part could have been avoided or reversed if the dudes weren't trying to save chicks on some I'm the man "provider" shyt. For those that care to get married make sure you get chicks that are on the same level and you probably avoid these problems. I also can't speak for @CrimsonTider but I think dude trying to say things like alimony don't affect most of us regular types that are on the coli. My parents are still together, but this is a new day. Most men aren't like my day and most women aren't like my mom. We aren't built anything like them, we're lazy and way more selfish than my parents. I don't think you have to be intelligent to realize this, but somehow people keep comparing marriage from back in the day. The world is a different place today than the 70s. Women put their career and personal success over all.

I dont know what to tell you...Average to below average women usually dont have high demands. its like wanting a coveted job position w/o qualifications...and just like that job, the position, like a relationship, isnt guaranteed to last forever.

Alimony: Women Increasingly Paying Alimony To Their Ex Husbands

and women pay child support too.

Plus regular couples, where both people are working, rarely have to pay alimony to their ex husband/wife. I think it's around 15% of divorce cases award alimony and that's including celebrity/wealthy couples.

When my mom and dad got divorced, he didn't have to pay child support or alimony. Same with my step dad and his ex-wife.
