I was in a similar situation like this. I had an ex that was like that. She said she doesn't think we're compatible and it's not going to work out between us. I was like ok. I was hurt but I'm not going to stress about someone not wanting to be with me. I set my dating profile to NW DC and I've been successful with the type of man i want, it's professionals in tech, government workers & engineers..doctors.

I need someone with just a lil edge tho. You either get the gainfully employed guy with no personality or you'll get the bum with all the personality.
