Nobody is challenging what you deem inappropriate or appropriate for YOUR relationship.

However, I think it's silly when other adults try to give other adults rules and regulations.

She is grown, she is supposed to have her own life and partner. She is supposed to be focusing on her own life and bonding with her own man, not mine.

It doesn't matter how long they knew eachother, it is never ok to go out alone late at night for drinks with the opposite sex when you are in a relationship.

Inviting us both to a brunch or her family's bbq or something is different. Day time events out in public, with groups of people. That is appropriate. Drinks alone late at night is not.

It really isn't that difficult to understand.

My original post was a joke piggybacking off a comment another poster made to Giselle & her asking what does that mean. She said her man cannnot have any kind of friendship with a woman. Just because you're friends with someone of the opposite sex means that you spend or even talk to them everyday. My best friends I speak to them maybe a couple times a month at the most because we all live in different states. So by you & Gisselle's logic, if you talk to them 3 times a month do you now speak once a month? Every 2 months?

You're right breh. I was mainly focusing on the drunks solo part, but my point still stands, if my lady(not a thot, sidepiece, fwb) has a problem with a female friend and me, that's something we can discuss and set boundaries on.
