What makes this so terrible is that


1). They abused him from the very BEGINNING of the interaction. Both physically and verbally. Calling him “nikka” and “bytch” within SECONDS of snatching him from the car. They threaten to break his arm mere SECONDS after attempting to handcuff him and refuse to answer his repeated questions for what he’s done.


2). The lack of professionalism is absolutely jarring. From the language they used when addressing Nichols to how they addressed each other. The excitement they displayed when pulling out their patons. ADMITTING that they were beating him in revenge for him running and one of the cops spraying HIMSELF with pepper spray. The taunting as they beat him. (One of them taunted him while he was calling for his mother) The celebrating afterward. High fives. Hugs. Daps. Then getting their story straight between them, all of this ON CAMERA. This shyt was literally Chappelle’s “Pour some crack on him” skit come to life.


You know how we always say never run from the police? Tyre Nichols had EVERY REASON to run for his life that night. EVERY fukkING REASON. These cops were thugs in uniforms. This is NOT an exaggeration. They should be investigated for gang ties.

im 100% with you on this man.... the fact this WASNT a hit and pure random/chance encounter is fukking mindboggling to me. these guys legit cruised around looking for someone to kill like some cartel's enforcers looking to reinforce the good idea of paying your protection money just to be safe

Innocent, maybe, but only because we know nothing about the initial contact.

Depending on how good or bad their lawyers are, and rather this country wants to begin changing police with 5 black guys as an example, it can be argued him not complying resulted in force being applied which ended in his death.

one of my friends grew up with a dude who was on the TnT squad dude would pull up during his shift and drink with us , go do arrest show up with dealers and hookers in the back of his car mid summer no air leave them in there. Basically though he/they were invincible. Kick in people's momma house doors, plant drugs, guns

Just watched all the videos...

After video two I thought they were going to prison for life. After watching that angle with audio.......those cops not going to prison like yall think. 5 years max.

Unless the country is ready for a change and will use these officers, the most the guy who swung those blows and the one who kicked him will get is 5 years. And that depends upon how good their lawyers are and how hard he argues "because the suspect wouldn't give his hands they thought he could be a threat".

They were holding dude up and tee’ing off on him like he was a literal punching bag, on top of kicking him and beating him on the ground. It’s a gang assault that turned into a murder. The badges don’t mean anything when they had no reason to pull him over in the first place.

There was also no attempt to get him real medical attention, similar to George Floyd. They’re going away for a long time.
