Also I'm on 40 east about 40 miles out from Memphis and will be driving through later. I don't expect any trouble as I'll just be passing through but anyone from Memphis, stay safe, criminals and the police look for any excuse to get violent during these times.

After video two I thought they were going to prison for life. After watching that angle with audio.......those cops not going to prison like yall think. 5 years max.

I thought he was cuffed while they were beating him. They never had him in compliance. They'll say they were fighting to get him to comply.

Unless the country is ready for a change and will use these officers, the most the guy who swung those blows and the one who kicked him will get is 5 years. And that depends upon how good their lawyers are and how hard he argues "because the suspect wouldn't give his hands they thought he could be a threat".

Ah, Scorpion Unit. See, these guys should not be allowed to do routine, warrantless traffic stops. Follow the vehicle while calling it in, pull the vehicle over and wait for a regular patrolman to handle the situation from there.

I agree. They’re headhunters and treat every encounter like it’s car full of guns and dope. They have no deescalation skills because they’re supposed to be chasing violent criminals and it’s typically not necessary.

They can beat on a gang member or violent criminal with no real consequence as long as they write it up the correct way afterwards
