I don’t understand for the life of me how it’s not a felony for police officers to straight up lie on police reports.

If I lied on a medical record I would lose my licenses and depending on what happened to the patient I could go to jail. They beat a man to death and that was nowhere in the report

I don't know, after hearing about how those two White EMT workers in Illinois were charged with homicide last week, when the Black man they were there to help later died in the hospital. They showed them on the scene dropping the brother on his chest several times. I haven't looked at EMT workers the same since.

At first they originally told the family 1-2 before the video was released, but I’m guessing the arrest and charges sped up the timeline.
