As much as it pains me to post this because it's my Alma Mater. Granted he played there before I attended the university.

:blessed: this dude was straight GOD status to me back in 1998-2000

I followed his career in the league until he finally left hoping that he would show glimpses of his college career.

I'll also add Andre Ware :to:..that's my first black heismen trophy winner right there...he and Barry Sanders back in 1990-91 were supposed to be the ultimate pass/rush combo

He should have went to Virginia instead of reneging on his commitment. But I guess the allure of Carolina was too strong. But either way he never even excelled in college. I think he was like a 50 percent passer for his career.

He wanted to be a dual athlete and UNC basketball is >>>>>>>> any VA program at the time
He's the best QB UNC ever had, couple bowl games, couple MVP awards...I'd say he did good. He and Julius Peppers were gonna be great..........then Oakland's SORRY ass football program came along...........

He was our Bo Jackson :to:

Seeing cats shout out Anthony Poindexter and Marques Hagans names brings back a lot of memories. Poindexter would have been a dominant All Pro safety year in if he didn't suffer his injury. As a UVA fan another player I thought had next but never even did anything in college and eventually transferred was Peter Lalich. I thought that kid had next but alas he disappointed me like a lot of others have too. Jamaal Sewell anyone?
