Why are women looked at as failures for not being married past a certain age? I don't get why you all assume the worst? It's the 21st century, marriage is not the end all be all for women anymore so I don't understand the criticism.
Because it sends red flags...no matter what century...

Maybe she's a career oriented woman and wants to have that established before getting married but using coli logic that means the chick is selfish and damaged goods.

Which one is it? Some women want to get married, some don't.
Men marry porn stars, Karrine types, strippers and every other "lowlife" female so why should a woman be looked down on for not being married as if only the good ones are?
Most marriages are not that great so why should it still be an attractive choice to women especially if they don't want children and they value their independence which contrary to the belief of men, is becoming very important to a lot of women?

) It's society. Society demands women being in traditional roles. Especially with white women. It's not as prevalent with black women, but the expectation is by 35 you have settled down. Otherwise society (and mostly other women in the real world) Just the way it is.I don't know why. @LovelyDay if you ask any white girls in your circle I guarantee you their moms had said stuff to them, as they get older.
