Pretty much. Melyssa Ford can still call the shots with mid level men, but she's not willing to settle for them. The kind of men that she wants to settle with, she also expects to be able to call shots with, but they have tons of other options available to them. These high class men are essentially doing the same thing to her that she is able to do with other men. If she doesn't get down with their demands, there is some other fine young thing just as pretty that's willing to get in line.
These really fine women grow up their whole lives with men kissing their behinds and catering to them and the only thing they have to do is show up and look pretty. Thus, they have the life belief that as long as they look pretty, they can have whatever they want from a man. They never learn how to listen to a man or get down for him because they never had a need to. They got anything they wanted from just about every man they've come across... that is until they graduated into the big leagues.
She's the type of woman that will not accept an everyday man. She will want to hold down one of those rich ballers or moneyed men. Unfortunately for her, unlike most of the men that kissed her behind, these ballers have options. They have several other women chasing them that is as pretty if not better.
What's interesting is that it's not always these super dimed out women that are the most dangerous for the ballers. Those women are so pretty and so catered and pampered to that a lot of them never really had to develop a whole lot of manipulative ability. Thus, they do not have nearly the acting skills of some of these less pretty women.Think about pilar and deion. Pilar was a very gorgeous woman, but when it came down for them to part ways, she didn't really show a high level of savvy.
Some of the most dangerous women to these ballers are usually the 8s who know how to play miss sweet or momma number 2... who had to develop a whole lot of manipulative ability to notice and keep one of these ballers. They are the ones who grew up pretty enough to catch guy's attentions, but they never were catered to to the extent of the superfine woman. Thus, they had to use their mind to hook a man. These women know how to shift their persona's around to make a man really pay attention to them. They know how to become the sweetest girl a man has ever seen and come across as willing to take care of the man and down for him no matter what. They know how to stroke a man's ego. Think of Shaunie with Shaq. She isn't the most gorgeous woman out there, but she is pretty enough and in those interviews, it always seemed like she was the one taking care of Shaq. She knew how to play her role until he trusted her to manage the money and started stashing on the fellow. She pretty much also had the saavy to parlay her interactions with Shaq into something of her own.
