That being said, it is a ridiculous deal. That's why it's not being matched. That's why Morey offered it. Lin's a nice story, but this is NYC. Nice stories are for the Olympics. It's about winning, and they couldn't pay $15 mil in year 3 for a PG that wouldn't be top 15 in the league.
Also not surprised about what Isola /Stephen A. said about Lin getting gassed up about the hype.
