Dominique Foxworth breaks it down how its different than what people faced years ago. Offenses eventually have to evolve. Its impressive stuff going on defense the problem is as Russillo says fans cant really see it based on how its filmed in real time.

I agree. If you become a below replacement level hitter because they put the SS in shallow right field, you are not good enough to be in the majors.

Exactly, if folks moving slightly to the left or coming closer to the infield throws you off that much go back to the minors :mjlol:

Mel Kiper knows fukk all about football :russ:

One of the GOAT hacks

And when was he allowed to speak on things outside of the draft?

This is a terrible back in my day ass boomer take and I don't usually dunk on people for those. Mel lost for this one
Who he is and most of what he is saying should be ignored.

Its why I should have included the Domonique Foxworth take along with it. Its more about the game becoming boring because of it and the NFL cameras not capturing impressive NFL defense.

Offense will eventually evolve. How long is the key.

Patrick Mahomes throwing for 150 yards 1 week, Burrow 160 in week 1, Justin Herbert averaging 135 yards a game, etc etc. Obviously early, but we might be down (entertainment) for a min until they figure it out.

For reference:

The problem is that o-line coaching is questionable in many franchises. There are a lot of ways to deal with two high safeties and it starts with protecting the QB and running the ball effectively, both of which require good o-line play.

NFL is going to want to OTAs/Training Camp back (which would help build a cohesive Oline/Give QBs more practice reps) the way it used to be if these TD passes keep dropping every year.
