Y’all about to hate my review. Idk if reading y’all replies lowered my expectations but
Shots Fired - kinda disappointed in this, idk thought it would be harder
Circles - it’s cool, nice sample
Cry Baby - DaBaby and Meg need a collab tape at this point. They can’t miss
Do It On The Tip - perfect ratchet track, exactly what I expected from Meg x City Girls. Caresha using Nicki’s “sons” line was....interesting. City Girls need to just make a public apology, I don’t think Nicki accepting anything less.
Sugar Baby - soon as I heard the sample I had no choice but to love this
Movie - I love anything Durk does, he has great chemistry with female rappers.
Freaky Girls - There was no way I wasn’t gonna like a Meg x SZA track. I love this.
Body - I like and hate this song at the same time. The body part is annoying but catchy.
What’s New - cool, prototype Meg track
Work That - Rodeo sample had me as soon as I heard it. Second verse
Intercourse - nice to hear Meg on a song w/ this vibe.
Go Crazy - Love it. Sean and Chainz are great with female rappers. I almost listened to this first.
Don’t Rock Me To Sleep - This song should’ve been given to Doja. I just don’t like soft songs by Meg. This one is a definite skip
Outside - love it
This is my favorite female rap album released this year. I didn’t like Suga when I initially heard it but liked almost every track on this. I can hear so many captions listening to this. I don’t see her demographic not liking this album. I’m gonna be shocked if she sells less than 100k. Either way, it’s gonna go platinum.
The song with Gunna from ‘Suga’ is better than probably 15 or the 17 tracks on this album
Armani Caesar and Che Noir’s two albums from this year are WAY better. The production really does a disservice to Megan.

I'm that big a fan of Megan's that I don't actually listen to her albums.
but I couldn't avoid it hearing it this time because of who I was with....its pretty bad.
I don't get the vitriol and clowning of the the singing pop attempt on social media though...thought it was cute.
if that dropped in 2010, Wiz wouldve jumped on it and it would've been a lowkey hit
one of those ones that people that work in retail would get sick of after hearing it 10 times a day.

Yeah the projections been out since Monday morning for other acts. They're in panic mode because this was obviously supposed to be her breakout project. Problem is she didn't gain any new fans out of it and in fact alienated some of them. They tried to make "Body" a TikTok sensation and it feels forced just like "Toosi Slide" was.
To be honest, as a healthcare college student, it's no reason that she shouldn't have been some sort of analyst/correspondent on the election and Covid. It would have been absolute lay-up, especially if they had Cardi B interviewing candidates.
Not doing Breakfast Club may have been the fatal mistake for this project.

I definitely consider that her debut album and not sure why they don’t. It’s 14 tracks, more than 30 minutes, and it’s not free. They basically pulled a Young Thug with that release, especially since Young Thug had about 5 “debuts” that turned into “commercial mixtapes”.
